Job Description:

Credit Card Dispute:

  • The Credit Dispute Rep handles a caseload of Merchant disputes.
  • Corresponding with the customers (merchants, banks, credit card companies, and possibly the customer) via mail and phone, determining dispute rights, and filing disputes through various online systems.
  • Position uses multiple systems to research, analyze, document and close fraudulent cases.

Duties:

  • Credit / Debit card dispute resolution
  • Ability to leverage research tools to execute sound decisions
  • Customer support, data entry, inbound / outbound call center coverage
  • Fraud and Chargeback investigation
  • Quality control of the support areas
  • Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:

  • Customer dispute resolution and call center experience a plus
  • Proficient / Advanced skills using a PC and business office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Confident, independent decision maker
  • Investigative Skills
  • Ability to accurately communicate decision processes
  • Able to negotiate with and handle sometimes difficult customers (able to deflect, disarm, and diffuse any verbal conflicts) with poise and professionalism
  • PCI (Payment Card Industry) background a plus
  • Furthers the culture and values
