Job Description:

  • Need L2 resource involved in tier II support
  • Knowledge on Win 10, Win 7, O365 and Azure desktop environment
  • Basic knowledge on Skype for Business and other VC technologies
  • Knowledge in deploying and handling IOS handheld devices as and when needed (basic MDM support knowledge)
  • Collaborate with vendors when needed and perform warranty repairs, escort them into and out of office premises
  • Basic knowledge in handling DC hands and feet, networking support
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows 10 and O365 and any other authorized desktop applications
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Performs remedial repairs on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment
  • Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards
  • Performs work in adherence with the defined standard operating procedures specific to the client and compliance within specified warranty requirements
  • Returns defective equipment/parts to maintenance inventory, documents customer repairs, maintains and restocks assigned parts inventory to insure proper spare parts levels including but not limited to disposal coordination with vendors
  • Safely package equipment for branches or end users home address and arrange for the transport of the equipment
  • Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network
  • When the restoration is beyond the scope of the computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment the Desktop Support Administrator will escalate the issue/problem to proper tier 3 support team member
  • Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests
  • Log all reported issues/ requests using the ticketing tool on a timely basis and ensure user follows till resolution
  • The person should be prepared / willing to do any other reasonable and lawful instruction/task and ensure that it is normally carried out on time and correct
  • Flexible to support the team off-hrs. support requirements during but not limited to office moves, outages, planned maintenance activities, hands and feet support etc
