Job Description:

  • Complete assigned work and side work each day. Assist with training and troubleshooting issues with builds. Image and checkout computer orders. Troubleshoot first day and ongoing computer issues as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Including the following, other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform imaging of computers and checking for required apps, encryption, etc.
  • Work as a team with fellow employees to prepare packages for shipment.
  • Immediately report issues preventing imaging or equipment shortages.
  • Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Ensure accurate labeling of shipments and paperwork to protect client from loss on all shipments.
  • Responsible for completing incoming assignments each day as well as proper documentation.
  • Provide first day and ongoing post migration support in an enterprise environment.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Experience with imaging computers and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  • Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.
  • Be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer the correct information. Acknowledge receipt of returned packages, research status and restock / update ticketing database as needed.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of a high school education and three years of related experience in enterprise environments. (degree or certifications preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving and people skills. Position can be remote, customer facing, or back office.
  • Technical computer expertise with PC/MAC computers. Experience with Office 365, sccm, vpn, and remote tools.
  • Knowledge of common ticketing systems helpful. (Service NOW, QuickBase, etc)

Additional information:

  • Travel to multiple sites in the US may be required.
  • Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
  • Experience with imaging computers and troubleshooting hardware issues.
