Job Description:

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • The Customer Service Representative provides primary/frontline telephone support for our 7 x 24 Facilities Service Center. This includes creating work orders and coordinating with necessary parties to effectively and efficiently resolve colleague issues that meet or exceed our colleagues’ expectations.

Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have intermediate working knowledge of computer operations and applications including MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Basic working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) (360Facility experience preferred)
  • Experience in managing internal and external customers in a fast paced work environment
  • Prior office-based customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Strong phone skills with the ability to convey confidence while resolving the colleague’s concerns
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work extended hours as required

Responsibilities:

  • Answer facilities related service request calls from colleagues across our portfolio
  • Enters service request tickets into centralized ticketing system from those calls, and dispatch the work orders
  • Continuously monitor the Facilities Service Center’s request queue
  • Respond to routine requests for status updates from internal customers and facility managers
  • Escalate critical maintenance issues to appropriate and pre-defined points of contact
  • Provide support for various groups within the Properties group
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Utilize MS Office Suite and other applications
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
  • This is an 8 hour (7:00am-3:30pm) per workday position Monday through Friday.
  • Additionally, the position will be responsible for periodically filling in the 7am to 7pm shift, which may include weekends, as needed
