Career Opportunity:

  • Perform an array of functions that may include packing and shipping orders, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, organizing and retrieving stock from inventory for machine assembly jobs, and performing inventory controls. 

How You Will Impact:

  • Parts Shipping – Organize, pack, and fulfill shipping for spare part orders, including small package and freight shipments. Must be familiar with documentation requirements for domestic freight, small package, and customs requirements for international shipments. Enters shipped orders into the ERP shipping system. 
  • Parts Receiving – Organizes received parts from vendors ranging from small packages to larger crated or skidded parts. Prepares and stages parts into inventory or machine assembly jobs. Enters received Purchase Orders into the ERP procurement system. 
  • Parts Inventory – Maintains the physical inventory, including shelf and rack locations for multiple small or larger pallet parts. Organizes and issues parts for spare parts orders or active assembly jobs. Manages stock count levels, including routine partial or complete inventory counts. Maintains the ERP inventory system. 

General Functions, Skills, And Responsibilities :

  • Must be aware of, fully accept, and practice all Client safety requirements. 
  • Specialize in one of the three primary functions – Shipping, Receiving, or Inventory, but be willing and able to support other non-specialist roles as required. 
  • Requires working with ERP and other computer applications for creating shipping records, purchase order transactions, and inventory maintenance. 
  • Can maintain a high level of physical activity during the workday, including periods standing and walking in the warehouse. 
  • Requires ability to work in a non-air conditioned warehouse environment, with cooler Winter or warmer Summer temperatures. 
  • Requires the ability to safely lift heavy loads, with a minimum of fifty pounds. 
  • For heavier loads, must be familiar with and able use hand trucks, dollies, or industrial fork trucks. 
  • Able to manage small crews of workers when assistance is needed for organizing larger part orders. 
  • Communicates directly with procurement managers or assembly workers to resolve issue 
  • Maintain good working relationship with fellow employees and customers

  • Have previous warehouse experience 
  • Be self-motivated

  • Work unsupervised 
  • Supervise others 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Have computer skills, with proficiency in inventory databases and software 
  • Ability to accept and learn new work processes and technologies 
  • Can understand machine bills of material and parts lists 
  • Physical Requirement 
  • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: 
  • Lift 50lbs 
  • Stand on your feet for 10+ hour 
  • Sit, stoop, or kneel 
  • Use ladders or stairs when needed 
  • Can work 10 to 12 hour shifts if required 
  • Stand; walk, use hands to grip and lift, reach with hands and arms 
  • Use standard business equipment, such as computers, calculators, copying and machines 
  • Have good close and distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus
