Position Overview: 

  • Under general direction, this position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • The Workday Analyst also supports system upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • l Maintain existing configuration of business processes, objects etc associated with specific Workday functionality 
  • l Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new Workday functions. 
  • l Assist with end-user testing and quality assurance. 
  • l Assign location, supervisory, company, cost center, and custom organizations to workers. 
  • l Implement realignments and reporting relationship changes in Workday. 
  • l Ensure that accurate data is transferred within set deadlines to payroll, benefits suppliers, etc. 
  • l Help maintain data integrity in systems by proactively running queries and analyzing data. 
  • Trouble-shoots complex customer and system issues including error messages, login difficulties, access denials, data issues and process failures in Workday. 

Job Requirements:

  • l Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required 
  • l 3-5 years of related experience preferred 
  • At least 2 years of direct Workday experience, including configuring business processes including notifications, security policies, routing, and condition rules; creating and maintaining reports; and providing customer support to managers and employees. 
  • Trouble-shoots complex customer and system issues including error messages, login difficulties, access denials, data issues and process failures in Workday. 
  • l Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes and data 
  • l Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel 
  • Ability to work effectively with business partners in other parts of the organization, including IT, Finance, etc. .
